Today’s episode is the first of four inspiring episodes we filmed in Kenya during our unforgettable adventure in July 2024. In this episode, I sit down with Professor Charles Mulli, Founder of Mully Children’s Family (MCF), a Christian based organization dedicated to transforming the lives of disadvantaged children. Since 1989, he has built MCF into a sanctuary for more than 35,000 orphaned and homeless children, providing them with education, healthcare, and a renewed sense of hope. Once a street boy abandoned by his parents, Mulli rose above his circumstances to become a self-made millionaire, building wealth through his ventures in transportation, real estate, and oil distribution. But everything changed the day he had his car stolen. This eye-opening encounter with street children in Nairobi brought back memories of his own childhood struggles, setting him on an unexpected path to give up his wealth and devote the rest of his life to rescuing Kenya’s most vulnerable children.

In this episode, I speak with John Ferguson, CEO of Saxon Aerospace/Saxon Unmanned and U.S. Marine Corps Veteran with over 25 years of experience in drone manufacturing for governmental agencies. John shares his belief that the mysterious drone sightings in New Jersey and other U.S. states could be connected to a covert U.S. government operation. According to his confidential source—who claims to have physically handled the warhead—the mission may involve recovering a missing nuclear device that was smuggled into the U.S., and is potentially tied to Ukraine’s unaccounted-for nuclear arsenal from the post-Soviet era. We dive into the chilling scenario that sounds straight out of an apocalyptic thriller. As a subject matter expert, he breaks down his theory regarding the high-stakes operation involving advanced drone technology currently deployed over New Jersey to locate and neutralize the potential threat. How did intelligence agencies uncover this alarming possibility? What role do drones play in detecting nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction? And how real is the danger of nuclear materials slipping through U.S. borders? We also talk about border control, immigration, child sex trafficking, and technological sharing between US and poverty-stricken nations to improve living conditions. Join us as we unpack the facts, the fears, and the cutting-edge technology that could potentially be our last line of defense.

What happens when algorithms decide what you can and cannot say? This episode with Markie Dennebaum ignites a spirited dialogue on the intricate dance between maintaining freedom of speech and practicing critical thinking. Throughout the episode, we don’t shy away from hot-button issues. From the controversial suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story to social media’s role in shaping public perception, we examine how misinformation and suppression by influential entities have potentially swayed political outcomes. The conversation extends to the contentious debates surrounding voter ID laws and the integrity of mail-in ballots, delving into past and present propaganda and media influence. Our discussion traverses the impact of government manipulation, media narratives, and the ongoing debates around vaccine safety, offering a critical examination of the extent to which these factors affect public consciousness. We also touch on the hidden health risks within the food industry and challenge the narratives surrounding vaccine safety and production. With humor and sincerity, we also dive into the nuances of cultural observations, the power of laughter, and the importance of engaging in meaningful, unscripted conversations. With a hopeful nod toward the potential for positive change and a candid discussion about political figures challenging the status quo, we invite listeners to engage with us in a pursuit of truth, understanding, and a better-informed society.

Today in the Sweat Tent studio, I am joined by Bobby Hughes, Executive Director for the Eastern Pennsylvania Coalition for Abandoned Mine Reclamation (EPCAMR). In this episode, we uncover the rich history and legacy of coal mining in the Wyoming Valley, focusing on the environmental impacts, challenges, and disasters that have shaped the region. We explore how the extensive underground mine pools, containing more than 400 billion gallons of water, impact local watersheds and lead to significant pollution issues. The presence of metals, particularly aluminum silicates, in the water creates toxic conditions that are detrimental to aquatic life and water quality. Bobby stresses the importance of collaboration among state representatives, local municipalities, and organizations like Earth Conservancy to secure funding for environmental restoration, emphasizing that this is a shared responsibility that requires collective action to build a sustainable future for generations to come.

In this episode, I sit down with Gina Schaefer, Founder and CEO of a thriving Ace Hardware store empire serving communities across Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia’s suburbs. From the ground up, Gina built her business to over $50 million in revenue with 13 locations supported by a dedicated team of more than 270 employees. Since opening her first store in 2003, Gina’s commitment to her community and innovative approach to business have turned her hardware empire into something far beyond a typical retail operation. As a woman in a male-dominated industry, Gina reflects on breaking barriers and proving that a hardware store can be a powerful engine for community transformation. We explore her unique hiring philosophy, “smash the box hiring,” which brings in people from unconventional backgrounds—including convicted felons, those who have faced homelessness, and individuals overcoming addiction—and how they’ve become invaluable teachers and team members. Lastly, we discuss her inspiring business succession plan, transitioning her company into an employee-owned model through an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan). Today, 130 of her teammates hold ownership in the business. Gina is an entrepreneur, author, and dynamic keynote speaker. Her memoir, Recovery Hardware: A Nuts and Bolts Story About Building a Business, Restoring a Community, and Renovating Lives, shares the power of second chances and highlights her commitment to inclusion and community impact.
