Episode 123: #OnTheStacks in the blu door studio with Jamie Anzalone, Personal Injury Attorney and Partner at Anzalone Law. At 5 years old, Jamie knew he wanted to follow in father’s footsteps as a plaintiff’s trial lawyer after seeing him take great pride and joy in his daily work.

During law school Jamie started playing guitar and singing at open mic nights as a hobby. Through creative writing and playing music, he was able to build confidence that now enables him to excel at the highest level in the courtroom. Jamie learned that in both law and life, nothing is as it seems and nothing is black and white, and only by following the process can you get where you need to go.

Anzalone’s mission is to fight for people that can’t fight for themselves, and while many perceive personal injury attorneys in a negative light, this episode may leave you thinking differently after host Bill Corcoran Jr. challenges Jamie on those negative thoughts and misconceptions.

Episode 118: #OnTheStacks in the blu door studio with Dave Yeager, Founder and CEO of Showcase Daily. At 23 years old, with a couple hundred dollars to his name, Dave threw all of his belongings into his van and drove across the country to California to follow his dream of working in the music industry. When he arrived, he was homeless. He was so determined to make it, that until he got a job and saved up enough money to rent an apartment, he slept in his van and snuck into movie theaters and survived on free refills of popcorn and soda that others left behind.

After a few years of working for ET on MTV, he landed a job in the music industry. Working alongside two industry legends, Co-Founder of Interscope Records, Jimmy Iovine, and Rapper/Producer Dr. Dre, Dave helped develop and build Beats Music, which was eventually acquired by Apple for $3 billion in 2014 and became what we now know as Apple Music.

Burnt out after working in the corporate world, he decided to create his own music streaming platform, Showcase Daily. It is a platform for emerging talent that introduces one new artist and one new track everyday with a focus on promoting quality over quantity. The app is currently in the alpha testing phase with hopes of rolling it out to the public in Fall 2022.

After getting fired from America’s oldest and Pennsylvania’s largest liqueur producer, where he was the National Sales Manager, he decided to start his own Whiskey company. His brand emulates the whiskey that would’ve been on the ships that came to North America from Ireland during the Great Famine and is also a tribute to his own ancestors, who have ties to the Scranton Coal Region.
